It's Not Easy Being Green
Although we know that GROW Nebraska isn’t perfect, we have added a new project to decrease our carbon footprint while increasing Nebraska’s economy. The GROW Nebraska Glass Reuse project allows you to help us in this mission by returning the glass jars of participating GROW products. The jars will be sterilized and returned to the GROW member for reuse. This cuts down not only on the energy of producing the glass jars, but also reduces the costs of packaging for participating small businesses in Nebraska. Help GROW go GREEN by bringing back your glass containers.
We would also love to hear any comments on how to make GROW even greener. If you have any ideas for us, please e-mail us at info@grownebraska.org.
Love is in the Air
Valentine's Day will be here in no time. GROW Nebraska has great gifts for your Valentine this year. Stop by the Kearney and Grand Island stores to check out the great Nebraska products. Can’t make it to the store? Order your Valentine a gift from our online store shopgrownebraska.org.
Thank You for Buying Local
GROW Nebraska would like to thank everyone for buying local in 2009. Buying local does even more than sustaining a statewide economy and increasing the livelihood of the individual business owners. See the benefits of buying local.
Do You Use eBay?
GROW Nebraska is a registered non-profit with Mission Fish, which is eBay's giving program. You can donate a percentage of a sale on an item being sold to GROW Nebraska. If you have any questions, please e-mail us at info@grownebraska.org.
